Privacy Policy

TL;DR - We Respect Your Privacy

  • ✅ All processing happens in your browser
  • ✅ No data is sent to our servers
  • ✅ No cookies, no tracking, no analytics
  • ✅ No sign-up required
  • ✅ No ads, no third-party scripts
  • ✅ Your JSON data never leaves your device

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. Period.

JSON Makr is designed to work entirely in your web browser. All JSON processing, validation, formatting, and conversion happens on your device using JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded to our servers, and we have no ability to see or store your data.

Local Storage

The only data we store is in your browser's local storage for your convenience:

  • Editor preferences (theme, font size, etc.)
  • Recent file history (optional, stays on your device)
  • UI preferences (dark mode, etc.)

This data never leaves your browser and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or cache.

Cookies

We do not use cookies. We do not track you across websites. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising services.

Third-Party Services

JSON Makr does not integrate with any third-party services that would track or collect your data. The website is hosted on Vercel.

Open Source

JSON Makr is built with transparency in mind. You can inspect the source code and verify that we do not collect or transmit your data.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect any data about you, there's nothing for us to delete, modify, or export. You are in complete control of your data at all times.

Security

All connections to JSON Makr are encrypted using HTTPS. Since all processing happens in your browser, your JSON data is never transmitted over the internet to our servers.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices (we don't plan to), we will update this page. However, our commitment to privacy will always remain: your data is yours, and we will never collect it.
